Load Checks

To ensure unacceptable wastes do not end up in the disposal area, Redwood Landfill conducts random loads checks on a daily basis. These load checks are pursuant to California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 27, Section 20870 and Redwood's Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP), If unacceptable items are identified, the load will be rejected. Redwood distributes flyers to customers that list proper disposal facilities for the unacceptable waste.
